Garden Plants By Post, Is a small home based plant nursery, we maybe small but we have over 25 years experience in the horticultural business, be it plant production, retail, landscaping, domestic commercial or amenity, so we can assure our customers that their plants will arrive safely and in good condition. Plants can be sent to anywhere in Ireland only.
Bare root plants are not always pretty on arrival but they are at least one year old and have been harvested from the field whilst dormant during the winter. We dig them up from the field on order.
Plant out on arrival and once the sunshine warms them they will continue to grow and bloom as if they have never been disturbed.
In autumn to early June, we offer for sale certain varieties of shrubs,and ornamental grasses; in bare-root form from our own plant nursery. Not only does purchasing bare-root plants save you money, but you will find that bare-root plants actually establish themselves more quickly in your garden.
Our prices are very reasonable, plants are available by mail-order in Ireland.
Bare root plants are available from approximately Autumn to early June. We try to send all orders as quickly as possible but delays may occur if weather conditions prove unsuitable for lifting or we are waiting for a particular plant to complete your order. Our plants are grown & held in stock all year round.
Garden Plants By Post is a family run business based in the West of Ireland.
We supply a range of shrubs and ornamental grasses; all are grown from seed by ourselves and sold as bare root plants and are free from chemicals and pesticides.
Our packaging is made from recycled packaging.
With each order we will send you a guide for looking after your plant and a planting guide if you have any queries please feel free to contact us.
Payment
We use PayPal to facilitate payments. This allows us to accept credit cards and debit cards.

Simply add plants to cart, you can also alter the quantities and remove plants from the cart then simply follow PayPal Instructions
We will also accept Cheque, Postal Order, Cash, Bank Transfer as another payment method, If paying by these methods please use this  Button orders will be despatched after payment clearance.

Delivery
Please allow 7 days for delivery of your orders, but most orders are shipped within 2-3 days
Shipping
We use An Post Service for all shipments. Most deliveries occur anywhere in Ireland from 5 to 10 days after a shipment is initiated. Garden Plants By Post will advise the customer when their item has been dispatched if you prefer registered delivery please contact us first as this does alter the postal charge, you will also receive the tracking number, We will not be held responsible for any items that go missing in the post as we have no control over this. Postal cost is €2.70 for 1 plant then any further plants are only €0.90 each in the same package i.e 2 plants total postage is €3.60
Returns
While every care is taken to ensure that your plants arrive in the best of condition, we cannot be responsible for failures due to bad planting, drought, unsuitability of site etc. If you have any complaints or queries, please advise us in writing within 10 days of receiving your order.
Terms & Conditions
Heights given are approximate and reflect the relative age and strength of plants. Should we have sold out of a particular plant/size, we reserve the right to make near substitutions unless requested not to do so in which case, if you have enclosed full payment with your order, we will send you a credit note or cash refund which ever you prefer.
